Instead of telling the rep you are having issues then ordering another experiment. We have been ordering online all the time since covid and buying hills prior to it being sold in stores, only sold at your vets office ! So, If you are having any issue. We we terrified our tiny cat still 7 lbs pounds at a year would bc so weak from literally water diet and bites then quit and after a week we knew we had to try something else, or we would have an emergency situation and lose her. At first, we didn’t realize chewy would help had the c s rep listened fully, not just recommended another bag and billed for another item. The diet that a competent vet recommends you give for the first year, then explains how to start transitioning slowly, but each review was a mirror of what we had endured for months and several different Hills tries / fails too, but when someone finally LISTENED both companies recommended this product! Sd mailed us vouchers so we could at least recoup some loss. So we kept putting it down, she took her time to go back to regular feeding, but at least she was eating even if little amounts, something!Īfterwards, I read reviews and now I saw why both companies recommended this bag, Bc it was the closest to the taste of hills kitten dry / mixed w kitten pate. Both came to same recommendation- this particular product! At first we were skeptical, bc it started out as others, she would barely touch anything, but then she decided this one she would eat a bit and refuse, but we kept trying bc this formula is closest to taste as the Hills kitten food. We explained which pate and hills kitten food she had previously eaten w no issue for a year. Even our vet said she will eat if she gets hungry enough but a week later he’d stated he never encountered such a situation! So, we in detail explained all the purchases we had made only to donate, and we were miserable, she was miserable, both losing sleep. we thought we would end up at the vets on Iv’s ! We even switched brands after trying several recommendations ( Hills and chewy ) we were so desperate to get her to eat anything. I’ve never had such a challenge changing a kitten over to adult food w transitioning, but this rescue took the cake ! Screaming, refusing any dry or wet food. Finally, w help found a Hills the rescue would eat !
